Dorothea Lange... A Universal Language

This program features a film preview from Child of Giants, a new documentary by noted filmmaker Tom Ropelewski. It centers on Dorothea Lange and her impact on American Society as seen through the eyes of her son, Daniel Dixon. Ropelewski will introduce the film and offer insight into Daniel Dixon's often difficult, often humorous relationship with this icon of photography. Segments also include interviews with photographers Rondal Partridge and Christina Gardner, who worked intimately in the field with Lange.

Panel Participants: John Dixon (Dorothea Lange’s son), Meg Partridge (Rondal Partridge’s daughter), and Filmmaker Tom Ropelewski.
