Opening Reception: Thu, Nov 1, 6pm - 8pm
What can you learn from a portrait? What can you not learn? These are some of the questions being explored by teens at Scottish Rite and Egleston Children’s hospitals.
Sponsored by Morris, Manning & Martin LLP, Showcase and ACP; volunteer photographers led by ACP co-founder Corinne Adams have been guiding these teens through writing and self-portraiture at a very important time of their lives, when they have so much to say.
In partnership with the High Museum of Art’s Teen Program, please join us at the Greene Family Education Center for a special exhibition of photographs and writing created by the teen groups at Scottish Rite and Egleston. Also on view will be works created during the High’s fall ArTLabs by teen artists responding the exhibition, Fast Forward >> Modern Moments 1913 to 2012.
This special event marks the last featured event of the 2012 ACP Festival. This exhibition continues through November 10th.
Special thanks to the High Museum of Art’s Teen Program and Digital Art Studio.
