Panel Discussion: Wed, Oct 17, 7pm - 9pm

Influential curator and writer Marvin Heiferman discusses his newest book, Photography Changes Everything. In dialogue with ACAC Artistic Director Stuart Horodner, he offers an overview of the publication's focus - how photographs shape our understanding of ourselves and the world. He will discuss the texts commissioned from experts, writers, inventors, and public figures, including Hugh Hefner, John Baldessari, John Waters, Robert Adams, and many others. Photography Changes Everything provides a unique opportunity to better understand the history, practice, and power of photography at this transitional moment in visual culture.

This event is presented in partnership with ACAC.
