Recode. Play. Loop.

Multimedia installation including sculpture, photography, and video.

Interweaving ancient, microcosmic processes of life with contemporary art practice, Bojana Ginn generates sculptures, video projections and photographs that reflect a complexity of ideas. Her work explores evolutionary biology and biomathematics, from the mechanisms of self-replication to the surprising discoveries of mathematical logic inside biological systems. Reflecting on the concept of DNA as a code of life, Ginn explores the idea of drawing as code. Her installations reveal the process of repetition and mutation, by which drawing is recoded into sculpture, sculpture into drawing, drawing into video, and installation into photograph.
