Exhibition: Sat, Sep 7, to Sun, Feb 2 2014

Thirty years ago, the High unveiled the establishment of the Bunnen Collection—a major group of photographs put together on behalf of the Museum by photographer and philanthropist Lucinda Bunnen. The holding was meant to establish the High as one of the nation’s premiere collecting institutions for contemporary photography. Since then, Bunnen has continued to support the growth of the High’s photography collection by adding more than 500 prints to the Collection. This exhibition presents a selection of works from the Bunnen Collection, showcasing the Museum’s rich photography holdings and celebrating the legacy of one of the South’s most dedicated photographers and arts advocates.
